The world really is going down the toilet. You can watch it swirling down the bowl in this video. The customer requested a free cup for water, but tried to fill the cup with soda instead.

The McDonald’s manager screams that she’s sick of people stealing soda, and turns off the soda dispenser. The customer throws a French fry at the McDonald’s manager, and then the fight is on!

Is soda that expensive that you have to steal it? Nope. Did the manager completely overreact to the situation? Yup. This is my point- people just have no respect for anything anymore.

I'm a guy who's grown up watching the technology explosion and expansion his whole life. I was there when the home gaming console was invented, I had Intellivision & Colecovision, and an Atari 2600. I was there when personal computers became a thing with my Commodore 64, and we used audio cassettes as hard drives and dot matrix printers ruled. I was there for the birth of cable television, and televisions going from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratios. I saw cameras and photography go from analog to digital, just like I watched music, movies, and everything else go digital. I lived in a world without Google and Amazon. I've watched mobile phones go from brief-case sized and mounted into cars. I've seen monochromatic screens change to color, and from non capacitive to full on touch screens. I've watched the rise of social media as well. I've seen at lot of stuff over my lifetime, so I have some insight into where tech has been that helps me better understand where tech is going.
